KidZania
Jakarta is a Mexican franchise recreation center that presents the concept of
playing while learning for children from kindergarten to elementary school.
With the concept of replicas of cities in children's size, this recreation
center has highways, buildings, retail as well as various vehicles running
around the city. Kidzania Jakarta is the first franchise in Southeast Asia and
second outside Mexico after Japan.
Established
in November 2007, Kidzania is operated by PT Aryan Indonesia. [3] The owner of
this company (PT Aryan Indonesia) is a married couple Roestriana Adrianti and
Mohammad Riza Chalid, with an investment of 10 million US dollars. In 2015 the
child of this couple Muhammad Kerry Adrianto becomes City Major Kidzania and
opens the pavilion of Nippon Paint and Garuda Indonesia. Kidzania Jakarta is an
indoor recreation center and housed in Pacific Place (shopping center) on the
sixth floor and has an area of 7,500 square meters.
This
recreation place has a target age of children aged 2-16 years, who play
professions such as dentists with dolls and dental equipment; doctorate with
operating room, police station, television studio, to the tax office. Children
can also learn acting and perform right away. The place where this profession
is called the pavilion, and in 2013 Kidzania has 71 pavilions. Children
included in the target visitors must pay the most expensive tickets whose
prices vary depending on the day of arrival with a value of Rp.150.000 lowest and Rp.250.000 highest (2015), while for the parents the price
ranges from Rp.100.000 lowest and Rp.200.000 highest (2015), and
toddlers charged Rp.50.000 - Rp.100.000 (2015).
